I received my GC for 10 years but i am supposed to receive it for only 2 years, since we have been married for less than 6 months at the time of approval. If anyone had been through this situation, can you please tell me what are the next steps that i have to take?

Thanks much in advance for your valuable suggestions.

Yes, you will need to fix the GC. Send it back with I-90 and check off "no fee" for "USCIS error."

If you don't fix it you will have problems filing ROC and it can be a big headache. You obviously will still be a LPR while the new GC is being printed and can get a I-551 stamp in your passport as proof of such by making an INFOPASS.
