Hello all. Was hoping somebody might have some information on the Missouri processing center. I could have sworn when I called USCIS and spoke with an agent in August that they said my file was being processed at the Vermont Processing Center. But a call to the USCIS today with an agent told me that it's at the Missouri processing center.

I filed the i130 for my Philippine wife and her 3 year old step daughter on July 29th. Would have been sooner, but we had to wait almost 3 months for the paperwork to come from NSO.

Does anybody have any experience with the Missouri Processing center? I haven't been able to find any processing times online...but the agent told me that people whom filed in Feb-March of 2013 are being rushed for whatever reason. He said he wasn't sure if I'd fall into that group of rushs that would be processed within 6 months. Or if I would be in a group that could take 14-16 months!!! My god. I hope it won't take us that long. I'm already going crazy of not seeing her since March of this year.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

John

yes, we have the same case. But my husband and my stepson's petition was filed in Feb. We are still waiting for a decision. I've called several times, only to be told to wait. As I can see, they are still processing some from January and still a lot in February. Hopefully get mine soon coz' waiting is such a torture. If yours was filed after April 30, your paperworks were probably sent to the new office in Overland, for a stand alone I-130. The purpose for that is to make it processed in a normal time w/c is 6-9mos. Whatever is left at Missouri right now, were supposed to be processed by the end of this month (keeping my fingers crossed). Be proactive, by calling and involving your state official. And when you call the 800 no., alsways ask for a Tier2 officer.

Goodluck...keep us updated on your file...

My congressman's (Brad Sherman) office is a waste of government resources. This same congressman did nothing to help me save my house from foreclosure...so I didn't expect much help yesterday with this. They are idiots.

I spoke with a supervisor at the 800 number yesterday, and she was being very honest with me. Basically people at the call center, even if they are an "officer" can't do anything to expidite your case. You have to make an appointment with USCIS and meet face to face with someone to get anything moving. So, I'm going to the Philippines next week to spend a week with my wife. I've been waiting since July 15th and have gotten my NOA1.

I read a story on the USCIS website that says they "might" help those that are experiencing hardships due to the recent Typhoon in the Philippines. Canada just called for stream lining immigration applications for the same reason. Look here.

The 1st level person at the 800 number told me that California is processing applications from June 2013 while the Missouri facility is just now processing applications from October 2012. I asked why they couldn't send the file to California (where I live) to have it processed. They said they couldn't. But an actual level 2 agent back in August told me that people like you (who filed in Feb of this year) were having their paper work moved to less busy areas to expedite processing. I'm going to call the Presidents office as well as the head of USCIS. Including both of my Senators. It's not like I'm not paying for this and this is a free service. I'm paying to bring my wife in....and she is my wife. And I'm a native born American. And I pay my taxes, so this terrible mismanagement of USCIS needs to get corrected. This is completely unacceptable.
