This is the same guy who says that:

a) People not born in the US are not entitled to have or express an opinion on what goes on there.

B) People should your word as gospel, based on your vast personal experience. Experience that doesn't seem to stop you from buying into every Republican party political slogan and soundbite going.

If you don't mind, I'll take your word about the objectivity of the media with a truckload of salt as well, seeing as you seem to think that you can speak authoritatively about the quality of the specific pieces of journalism without actually viewing / reading them

Actually, if an immigrant becomes engaged in the political discourse, that immigrant is assimilating. Hailing Bush is NOT assimilating. Bush will be gone. America will stay. Political debate and open discourse is as American as it gets. Labeling those that oppose the current government and it's policies as traitors, anti-American or terrorist supporters is not American. Seems that a number of Americans (not a majority as you'd like to think) have a lot of assimilating to do.

Well, I have no tolerance for a guy that's immigrated to this country and has nothing better to do than to criticize, and belittle every action that my President makes.

If you think it's healthy to engage in this sort of behavior that's your business; I certainly don't agree. On more than one occasion this particular person has resorted to calling our President, the President of the United States, stupid. You have done so also.

Frankly, he hasn't earned his stripes to do that yet.

There's absolutely no excuse for that kind of rhetoric. It's disrespectful and has absolutely nothing to do with healthy debate or "engaing in political discourse".

He's complained about the possibly of having to serve in the Military as a result of a draft and our Health Care system as well implying that those of us that disagree simply are ignorant of the virtues of social medicine, and generally is negative about all that's discussed in these forums concerning this country, and our government from the involving quality of life to foreign policy....

If he feels the way he then perhaps Britain is where he needs to be. We already have enough immigrants that come here and complain incessantly about everything from their percieved lack of entitlements to the language barrier insisting that all's wrong here.. and they're getting screwed........

That's what Britain's now dealing with; a whole bunch of disenfranchised (imagined) immigrants blowing their fellow citizens up.

Interesting... How does one "earn one's stripes" to be able to engage in a political discussion, in your view? I'd really be interested to know how one becomes qualified to comment on issues and policies (in a public forum) that have a direct impact on their quality of life.

And since when did assimilation have anything to do with adhering to one side of a political discourse? As an immigrant I obey the laws of this country, I pay taxes - outside of that its really none of your business is it?

Incidentally on that point about social healthcare - the fact that you seem to be gung-ho on pushing your vast "Alexander The Great" military experience, you seem quite content to slam public healthcare, of which you have little/no direct experience - a bit like when you slammed CNN's liberal reporting based on a story that they aired that you never saw. Goes to show, the only personal experience you value, is your own. To anyone else - that would be called ignorant self deception, covered with a rough veneer of arrogance.
