Morning my VJ friends - well its now day 66 days since I have been in AP and I sent an email last week Tuesday to the Kingston office and have not gotten a response - resent same this morning - it is very frustrating and depressing having to sit and wait not knowing what is happening or when it will happen - my wife had to spend her birthday all by herself, without the warmth and comfort of her family - guess that is is irrelevant, just want my family to be together again that's all and to see my daughter happy and playful again, my wife happy and not so stressed out and down - is that too much to ask for. still waiting

this is our 60th day in AP for my youngest stepson.. my oldest stepson was approved same day and has already received his visa.. this is CRAZY.. i have received responses from emails.. are you making sure to put the case number, and DOB's of petitioner and beneficiary?? thats the only way i think they are allowed to respond..

but it hasnt gotten me anywhere.. my second email was responded with " Due to heavy workloads there is no timeframe for administrative processing, however we will be in contact once review of your case is completed" They probably never even looked at it.. just sent a default email..

Blessings, i know its hard not know whats going on.. God give us peace and strength to get through this

I always input the case number in every mail that I send to them - and as usual its a standard response - my wife called DOS and all the lady said was the case looks good but you will have to contact the Kingston embassy, she told her the embassy just respond with default emails ...DOS cannot help so I am wondering if someone has a number to call Kingston where we can actually speak to someone in the consulate (immigrant section)

If the case is in Administrative Processing, they won't be able to tell you more than that even if you call the Embassy. Unfortunately, it is what it is, and covers a variety of processes, so nobody can accurately tell you where a case is in the process nor how much longer it will take. I know it's hard -- but patience is the best advice at this point (although hard to follow).
