USCIS and Yemen ... anyone else?

I called USCIS to inquire on the status of this case (submitted on 12/2011) and this is the response i received.

Assume you are asking about the final paragraph. It does appear to start in the middle of something. I suspect, based on the phrasing, that it is a hold-over from the time period when DNA testing was suspended in Yemen because they had no way to get the samples out of the country to approved labs for testing. I know it was suspended for more than a year -- from right after the bombs were found on an outbound UPS plane in October or November of 2010. I think it has resumed now, so this paragraph should likely have been deleted.
