Can the US shutdown affects my visa??

Hello everybody!

My fiance works for the US government and he is not getting paid right now because of the shutdown in the country.

I have my interview on november 15th and since I have not heard a word about fixing the problem I am afraid I cannot get the visa because of his payment and all the problems involving the shoutdown.

Does everybody know if that problem can affect my visa?

I really appreciate any help!

No. Many VJers got approval after shutdown. It should not affect your interview or your visa after approval.
