I will be traveling this Friday for the first time to visit my fiance since we submitted our K1 package, I will bring documents (job contract, rent receipts, utility bills, pay slips, insurance certificate and my fiance flight itinerary book for November) with me to show proof of ties and that I have no intention to stay beyond my return ticket which will be the following Monday as I must return to work. After my return I will share my experience and hopefully all goes well.

There is no issue with you visiting as the petitioner but the beneficiary need to show ties and convince the officer that he/she will return and have no intention to get married illegally in the US on a visitor visa

Hope this helps... all the best!
