Failed Medical - TB Test

Hi, my fiancee failed her TB skin test, then had to do chest X-ray, which they found abnormal. She's not sick and has no symptoms of tuberculosis (coughing, etc). They say they have to do a sputum test which will take 2 months. Is there any way to speed up the process? If she does have TB she'll have to undergo lengthy 6 months treatment. Can she still get her visa and do the treatment in US?

Thanks for any help.

Considering they won't let her into the country I would say no.

Timeline

My fiancee's daughter came over on a K2 visa her mom. She had a positive TB test and x-ray. No active TB was present only exposure at some point in her life. They both came over last year on the K1 and K2 visas. Upon arrival we got a letter in the mail from USCIS to go to the local health department. She subsequently was started on a 9 month regimen of INH and Vitamin B6 as part of her treatment. We have had to go to the health department each month for nine months to have her checked out and receive the next months prescription for medication. At the end we received a letter stating that she had fulfilled her obligation for treatment. It was a pain in the neck but she was able to receive treatment in Arizona not Philippines where she came from. It didn't hinder our visa process. I hope that helps. Good luck. God bless.
