hi my case was reaffirmed and send back to the consulate, last week i get phone call from the consulate to tell me the date of my interview and they ask me to bring some papers like criminal record.... and my wife tax paper of last year (2012) my wife on 2010, 2011 she was make enough money to be my sponsor but on 2012 no she cant cause she had problem on work but now on 2013 yes she can be my sponsor my question is can that cause us problem? or we can just show my wife pay stubs of this year that she make enough, even the consulate ask about 2012 tax paper?

I think they will require her 2012 tax return in addition to proof of current income. I would take as many copies of check stubs as possible and be prepared to explain the decrease in income in 2012.

they go by the past not by the future so its the tax returns of 2012

so it's back at the IV Unit, casefile re-affirmed from USCIS.

a tax year has passed, from the time of the last interview to the new interview.

need:

1. recent medical exam

2. recent police clearance report

3. updated I-864 from petitioner, showing 2012 tax data and 2013 current annual income

something missing , have a doubt on the 2012 tax info meeting the poverty line? get a 2nd I-864 done, for a co-sponser.

have both I-864s in yer hand on interview day.

Give over the spouse's I-864. If the Vice-Consul not like the 2012 tax data, give over the co-sponser's I-864.

That's it, that's all. Usually the IV Unit wants to see prior year tax data (in this case, 2012) and current annual income (in this case, 2013) on interview day.
