What does he do for a living? did he just lose his job? Is he worried that she is using him and acting this way to change him? How long has he been living with his mom. Someone needs to gain a better understanding of this man cause the information you providing just sounds like his wife does not know him at all. She can't even tell you what the issue is. Does he have a creepy fetish, and brought her here to satisfy it until he is sick of it ( by not adjusting, she scared to talk to her family, he basically has complete power over her)? This is just pure craziness. This girl should consider going home for her own safety since you guys cant figure out a reason ( logical or not) why he is acting like this

Do us a favor please: Tell me what the price of Apple stock will be next year at this time.

You wrote: "He will not change."

Since you can tell this, surely you can prophesize the price of Apple stock next year...no?

Patterns of behavior are not the same as predicting stock prices.

Try again.

I left home, on my bicycle at age 15 and never returned.

I never finished my Senior year of high school.

These are patterns of behavior.

It would seem, according to your rules of prediction that I would never graduate with a college degree.

Yet I did, not once, but three times, all Cum Laud.

Not what you would have predicted--I'm sure.

Why would a person ever marry someone like this?

She should go home and find someone else. This guy is a loser.

No one will understand better until you hear the man own version of the whole story. I pray you take the best decision.

Yeesh..what a mess! Can't wait (and I hope it happens) to find out the whole story. As it stands with the tidbits of information we have received, he lied (or possibly withheld the truth) to her and now wants to deport her. What a sad case. I pray that your friend finds her way through this and it all ends with a happy ending.

I've seen enough in my life to not put any scenario as 'out of the question'. I wish her and him, the best for their future, together or not!

"Here's what she said, her man told her that due to distance during the fiancee visa process his feelings for her is just but a friend."

I can understand that she does not want to give up her relationship since she have already given up everything for him just to be with him. She even mention that it is a total shame to her family if they ever know of her situation.

She just need some guidance right now as she is a little confused. Very new to this country and don't have family to run to.

Really? OK - I'm changing my opinion..

He's a nutter. I know if I married a lass and she was sleeping in my bed, there wouldn't be any of this 'just a friend' stuff whatsoever. The visa process is over, is time to man up and go forth.

Query - this is all going down in Hawaii, right? What's the ethnic background on the husband?

Very new to this country and don't have family to run to.

According to a previous post she does have a family to go back to.

Even is information is relayed via a sympathetic 3rd party?

Yup. They're already married.

He is white!

OK - I stand by my last opinion, then. Also, there's a small chance he'll snap-to, wake up, and do the right thing by her, going forward with HIM finding a job and handling her AOS after 3 months. I think it's plausible, however incomprehensible it seems at the moment.

Darnell,

Thank you for being positive about this. AS I myself do not know the whole story.

I only know what she told me.

I am hoping they will come out of it and things for both of them should come to normal.
