Just to clarify, EAD never acts a a travel card. Having the combo card with the AP endorsement allows for travel, it is the AP endorsement that IS the travel authorization.

I think Lainie already made that clear when she originally said "The AP is now just an endorsement on the EAD, it's not a separate card, unless it's applied for separately to the EAD."

Thanks a lot for the advice everyone and apologies for my delay in getting back to you. Very much appreciated.

Can I also ask, how exactly do I go about getting my social security number? Can I retrieve it online, or do I have to visit a government office of some sort?
