I didn't mean you couldn't post I was just saying that the lead times from CSC to NVC seem to be a problem now. We all are aware of the lag from VSC on NOA2 approvals. Glad to hear yours got transferred and sent to NVC.

Happy to see that NVC got your case!!

I had an NOA2 date of Sept 3, called yesterday and they had just received my case that day and told me it takes 10-20 days for them to process it there before sending it to the consulate. At least its there! Does anyone know if it could possibly get processed sooner than 10 days?

They told someone else that to and they had their case number that evening. I believe the person who started this thread.

Happy to see that NVC got your case!!

Thank you!!

NOA2 thru CSC dated September 20th and still.......nothing.

Summary of today's phone calls:

  • Called DOS today and was told case was at NVC as well but case # has not yet been issued. ((YAY!!))
  • Called NVC and was told case was not there yet and no case #. ((BOOOO!!!))
  • Called USCIS and was told case should ship to NVC within 30 days and to call back after 30 days to track case. ((W.T.H))?!? ha haaaa

Every day......something different is told. Frustrating to say the least. And to think we were actually getting our hopes up of arriving before Christmas. <<insert sad face here>> Oh well, good news is that we are closer than ever before to being together. Just trying to stay focused on that to keep from going NuTz! ClockWatch2.gif

-------------------------

UPDATE:

Per timelines, there are now 4 CSC filers w/ Sept NOA2 dates that now have been rec'd by NVC and have case #!!! ((Sept 5th NOA2's currently))

I was approved Sept 19. My fiance called DOS yesterday and they said that they don't have it yet and that he should call the csc. He then called csc and told him that they already shipped our papers to NVC. He tried calling NVC before they close but he couldn't get thru the line. But I am feeling hopeful that we will get our case number very soon...:) Keep waiting..The waiting for the case numbers will be over soon..:)

I got my case number yesterday but waiting for AOS invoice to be created. I tried logging in to

https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx and https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx

and apparently the second link indicates that AOS has not been invoiced yet. So the wait continues. :-)
