I finally got my GC in the mail. YaY

However they mixed the placement of my middle and first name. They initialized my first name and fully spelt the middle.

It didnt look like that on the EAD

Am i wrong and that Is that the right format.

If not, what is the course of action or am i to leave it like that?

Married - February 1st, 2013

5/29/2013 - Mailed AOS Package to Chicago Lockbox

6/03/2013 - Package Received.

6/06/2013 - Check Cashed.

6/07/2013 - Receipt Date on NOAs - Transferred to National Benefits Center.

6/11/2013 - Received Hard copy NOAs.

6/14/2013 - Biometrics Appointment Notice.

7/08/2013 - Biometrics Done and Successful in Baltimore.

7/17/2013 - I-485 status updated to "Testing and Interview".

8/07/2013 - Interview Notice Received.(online/text).

8/08/2013 - Interview Notice Received.(Mail).

8/09/2013 - EAD Approved.

8/17/2013 - EAD Received.

8/22/2013 - SSC Received.

9/12/2013 - AOS Interview - Further Review needed.

10/03/2013 - AOS APPROVED!!!
10/15/2013 - GC Received.

.....till 2015.

30/09/2015 - Mailed ROC Package to Vermont Lockbox

09/11/2015 - Biometrics Taken in Baltimore

19/08/2016 - RFE received

12/10/2016 - RFE response package sent.

04/11/2016 - ROC APPROVED!!!

25/11/2016 - GC Received.

I think you definitely want to get that fixed. You dont want any issues with the names on your identification not matching.

03/04/14: Applied for SSN - Not in SAVE

03/06/14: Green Card Production

03/14/14: Received Green Card via Priority Mail

05/03/14: Received SSN - Had to wait for DHS verification

12/29/15: Express mailed I-751

12/31/15: I-751 Receipt Date

01/05/16: Fee cleared account

You make a good copy of it, you send the bad green card along with the I90 for and marking that is it USCIS error Send in a copy of your passport/EAD to document the correct name format ( your NOA1 if it was spelled correctly ) It propably will take 4-6 months to get your replacement. Hopefully it will be correct ( ours wasn't it had a different error )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

They messed up the spelling of my dad's last name ( in the 80s) and he never fixed lol. So the spelling of my mom and dad's last night is different. ( one has a double letter one has a single) when they had us we took the incorrect spelling so its identical to my dad's. Don't be my dad, get it fixed. I think he didn't want to rock the boat.

so what evidence should i send with the i-90 to prove that the error was on their part?

im not about to shell $500 for something i didnt cause. =/
