Hi! I am the beneficiary and we also used my maiden name in the I-130 filing.

Right now we are starting the NVC process. I recently renewed my passport. It now bears my married name.

I just called NVC a while ago, the rep said that it is ok to use my married name in the DS-261 and I can request to update my name in their file by sending a copy of my passport via e-mail.

You can call NVC to confirm! :)
