Difference between I-134 and I-864?

I'm putting together the financial forms to mail to my fiancee (her interview is in two weeks so I'm in a bit of a hurry at this point.)

I'm currently looking for work, since I just returned to the country and haven't established myself yet. Both of my parents (they're divorced, but live in the same city) have agreed to co-sponsor my fiancee. I want to make sure we have all the right forms for this. They've already done the I-134, but I saw someone in another thread about sponsorship mention the I-864. Do we need to fill that out as well? Or does it not apply to K-1 visas?

OK, I think that just made me more confused and worried. I'm only allowed to submit one additional I-134? Each parent earns WELL above the require limit, but I was hoping the CO would look at both just to confirm that we have plenty of support and there's no chance of my fiancee needing government help.

One more question.

Does the first line in blue here need to be signed or initialed? All the guides I've found for the I-134 say sign and date the bottom, but no one mentions that random line.

You can take both of the I-134 forms, but only one is needed and will be used. I do not think it will hurt anything to hand them more than is needed though.

If you mouse over that space when filling out the form, you see that it asks for the sponsor's full name to be entered there to acknowledge you read about the liabilities in the instructions. Type the name there and sign and date below where it asks.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. My fiancee and I will have a long chat session next week going over each piece of documentation she has and I'll make sure she knows that.

Ok, last question, I promise!

On the I-134 my parents are giving as co-sponsors, should they put "Relationship to sponsor = none" since we're not married so my fiancee has no legal connection to them?
