Clarification and Help, please!

Hello Everyone. We(My fiancee and I) need some clarifications and assistance from you, please.Our petition has been approved, we had NOA1 on Feb 21, 2013. We received NOA2 on Aug 27, 2013. But till now, we haven't heard anything from NVC or the consulate concerning the next steps to be taken.

I've been reading on VJ, some people whose petition was approved on Aug 27 and 28, have already received their Case numbers, and some have even gone for their interviews already. We don't know why our case number from NVC is still not in.

ANY ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO NEXT? YOUR ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANKS!

hi,,i got my NOA2 on aug. 28 and i alreday have my case number,,,we called NVC everyday and luckily we got it on oct 10,,,call nvc or dos to get your case number

The nvc is just now working on 8/27-29 time periods. I have been trying to follow similar timelines. Should be any day now. Ours is 9/05. Many of us had to wait much longer because of a high number of applicants in March and April , also the USCIS was working on other things because of Obama's unconstitutional changes and the expected passing of the so called amnesty bill, which should be called cheaper labor for American farmers

REPLY; we just called both NVC and DoS, and they told us to call back next week. We hope something good comes out next week as said.

But will calling everyday help to speed things up? NVC and DoS told us they haven't still received our file from USCIS.

It won't help speed things up on NVC's end, but it will help with getting that GUZ number quicker.

Even when NVC tells you to call back next week, in reality, they just don't want the same person calling everyday. It does not mean that they won't have the case updated until next week.

So i suggest you to call every other day, so you can get that number asap without calling everyday.
