I got an update on the 22nd that the card was moved to production. I just say God did it.

Indeed it must have been the supranational power that helped you! I am doing a walk-in in Alexandria, VA. Fingers crossed. And I can see that all your documents were processed at the NBC??

Hi, Did you wait for an invitation to biometrics? Or did you just go and do walk-in? We sent our I-130 and I-485 files on 10/15 and NoA we received on 10/21, and I still have not heard anything about biometrics.

Yes,wait for your biometrics letter then do a walk in as soon a you get it dancin5hr.gif unless you are willing to wait til your biometric appointment date.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum.I am an October Filer too. I am a F1 Status initially. I filed for my AOS on October 1st, Did my walk in Biometrics on October 22nd, Original biometrics date was Oct 28th. It's been almost two weeks I haven't heard anything and my online case status for i 485 is still stuck at Acceptance whereas i 130 & i 765 are at initial review, Is that normal? & also Does anybody know how long it's gonna take me to get my EAD?

Hi,Yes that is completely normal for your status to still show acceptance and initial review.Hopefully within a month there will be progress.AS for the EAD that is a totally diff department.It should take about 2-3 months to get it.My application still says initial review and its been a month.

Oh wow Kudos on that.I am in desperate need for my EAD/AP to be approved i leave the country on the 29th of this month.Did ypu expedite yours?My status still shows initial review while my i-485 is at testing and interview.Have you ever heard of anyone doing a walk in interview?Am afraid i will get an interview date in December and i will not be available to do it.I guess i will be the first to do all theseranting33va.gifranting33va.gif if all does not go well

And got the letter on Nov 4, for bio appointment on Nov 18.

I just wanted to tell you that I tried to expedite my AP application thru infopass and the officer was extremely rude and impatient. He turned me down because "your mother is only in the hospital and had a surgery, she is not dying"...I was like #######. So it's probably not a good idea to do infopass unless some immediate relative is really dying or just died I think.

then I called the 800 number this afternoon, the agent was so nice and helpful. He submitted a request to expedite my AP and I just got an email an hour ago saying that I need to fax them evidence that my mom needs me. So I am going to do that tomorrow.

btw how was your expedition experience?
