After she completes the medical/interview, I was wondering a few things about actually getting the visa itself....

If approved who and how do they notify?

What options are available to pick it up? Am worried about this because quite frankly she does not really have a specific physical address since she pretty much lives in a remote area. Furthermore, want to avoid an additional day layover in Manila just to go to the Mall of Asia. Furthermore, even if it can be delivered as 'General Delivery' to her post office, it takes 4-6 *** WEEKS *** for mail to get from Manila to there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The USEM doesn't use the local post office. They use a private courier so delivery to province areas is 5-7 working days. She should have a near branch no matter where she is then she can just travel there and pick it up. :) Have her fill out the delivery form and put pick up and the address of the closest 2Go courier since they use that courier. They notify via text if the visa is ready for pick up.

P.S. delivery time varies but private couriers don't take a month and it would still be crazy if it goes to 2 weeks. :P

First and foremost the visa will not be delivered by mail. The visa will be delivered by 2GO. What is the closest 2GO location near your fiancee? Maybe arrange to pickup it up there.

My fience had interview for visa today and they didn't tell her she got approved for visa or not, they just told her that she will receive her passport via 2GO. Is that mean she got approved and when she can go in postal office to pick up passport , and does she gonna have some envelope with documents or no

Rarely is the word "APPROVED" heard during the interview... we never heard "approved" when we were there. Visa is not delivered through the postal system. 2GO will deliver the visa to the address you fiancee listed when she scheduled online. She will receive the visa along with a DO NOT OPEN envelope.

There is a link for tracking below... follow the flashing arrow.

Did your fiancee do CFO already?

Hank, what's in the "do not open" envelope? And when does it get opened?

The DO NOT OPEN envelope contains your complete file. At POE they will take the envelope and open. Keep the envelope in the plastic bag to protect it, keep it in your carry on as you will need it upon disembarking at POE.
