If you file your I-130 and it is either pending or aprroved, are there any restrictions on visiting the US during this process ?

i.e. me and my wife live in the US, we have just filed our I-130 in Vermont. We would like to visit the US to see family and friends / holiday.. Is this allowed ?

if you & your wife are already in the U.S. I don't believe it matters where in the US you visit. The only way I might see a problem would be if you encountered border patrol/immigration officer.

Their shouldnt be any problems visiting the US as long as you show ties to the country that you are coming from. Phone bills, credit card bills, mortgage, things like that. As long as you provide info that you will be coming back their shouldnt be a problem.
