Once my case has been transferred to Juarez am I or my fiancé in Mexico suppose to get anything in the mail before we move forward? What happens if we don't get anything in the mail?

The process and requirements have changed but they have always sent some kind of letter letting you know your case is with them and ready for interview. They will most likely still send one with the links to the instructions and the site where you need to pay and schedule the appointments. I notice it is still listed in the required documents to bring to the interview and medical, "12. Consular Interview appointment letter." The old instructions listed a "Visa appointment letter."

Whether or not you can go ahead and fill out the DS-160, pay and schedule your appointments before receiving anything from CDJ is something I do not have an answer for now. The changes are too new. In the past, if you did not receive the letter from CDJ before your appointments, then you could get one printed out at the customer service window at the consulate in Juarez before going to your appointments and medical.

Since the changes are so new, I suggest you contact them to ask. It takes longer, but you may get a more accurate answer through email rather than calling them.
