Hi Fellows,

My U.S. Citzen Fiancé and I are now gathering all documents to join the I-129F form. I have a child and I plan to include her in the process. At this first step, do we need to include like a G-325A for and/or pictures of the child as well, or it is only the petitioner and the beneficiary?

Thanks for helping.

Thank you!

Just to make sure. So beside including her name into the I-129F form, i include picture, G-325A in a unique package, within mines and my fiancé info, right?

As far as I know, you only need to complete two of the G-325A forms - one on yourself and one for your fiance. Your finace's child will be listed on the I-129f as you've already indicated. I am in the same situation and included a copy of the child's photo (attached to my finace's G-325A in same baggie as his photo) as well as her birth certificate in the packet to front load our petition. When you are approved and near the end of the journey, all other applicable info on the child will be gathered when completing packet 3 (there is a specific question that asks if the child will be joining the parent, etc). I am also including a notarized letter from her biological mother that authroizes her to leave the country even though her father already has full custody (this is just a safeguard in case it is questioned during the interview, etc)

i JUST started a thread on this a couple hours ago. here's the link just in case anyone else has info that I wasn't able to find on this topic --> HERE.

Hope that helps & best of luck! smile.png

Hi, when i did my fiance visa i added my fiance kids on the 129f and i did not send any passport photos of them. When they did the request for evidence they asked me for a intent to marry letter and passport photos for my fiance only. That's all i sent and they approved me the next day.

Hi Corey,

Based on what you said:

"I am also including a notarized letter from her biological mother that authroizes her to leave the country even though her father already has full custody (this is just a safeguard in case it is questioned during the interview, etc)"

Did you include her birth certificate and authorization letter from her mother at the first package - I-129F? Or in the following packages?

Sorry I'm confised =/

guides6ly.gif (accessible at the top of the forum page). In particular, the K-1 visa guide.

At the visa petition filing phase of this process, the petitioner is researched and vetted. All that is necessary for the child, at this point, is to include information where indicated on the I-129F petition. More will be required later on at the visa application phase of this process. Save the letters and certs about the child for that part of the process.

If you plan for your child to migrate with you please include everything for your child as well.

For someone filling out an I-129F petition to start the K-1 process, the child only needs to be listed on the form. No other documentation is sent with the I-129F for children (K-2).

No worries at all! I included the birth certificate in the first package but will also include it in packet 3 as the one I included in packet 1 was not translated into english. The notarized letter we are including in packet 3 only. ;-)

We included a G-325A and 1 pic 5x5 of each kid of mine (11 and 13 year old) . Not sure if USCIS used them, but what I know is that I didn't get any RFE. Ahhh! Also we included the first page of their passport and the authorization to travel and live in US signed by their father.

Good Luck! :)
