Questions about getting married Cambodia

Hello everyone!

I have a question about marriage in Cambodia and I am really confused.

I am a Cambodian girl who is a permanent resident of America. My boyfriend is from Pakistan and we want to marry in Cambodia since my family members are there. I read somewhere about foreigners being outlawed from marrying local girls.

My question is if this is true? and if it is, would it apply to me since I am not local but a resident of America?

Also since that makes us both foreigners, what is the law about two foreigners getting legally married in Cambodia.

The new law passed a couple of years ago states no male foreigner over 50 years or earning less than $2550/month may marry a Khmer woman.

As for getting married here, I would suggest contacting your respective Embassies (vis-a-vis Certificates of No Impediment to Marry) & the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Phnom Penh for requirements.
