Hmm... baby - one month old old. Puppy - six weeks old. Toe-gnawing aside... I'm having a hard time trying to imagine why anyone would think 'right, we've just brought home our newborn baby... time to get a puppy!'

Well, given that they *bought* the puppy from someone else, unless they bought it before it was two weeks old, the baby was there first.

I dont understand how the parents didnt hear the baby screaming BEFORE her toes were already knawled off like right at the beginning when the puppy began to chew. i wake to the sound of my son rolling over, something just isnt right here.

Exactly what I am thinking. I can remember when my kids were infants....if they made any sound at all I was up and right beside them.
