With all the disgruntled I130 petitioners out there, I'd think that more would be willing to participate.

I'm willing to participate but honestly don't know what I can do to help. I've put the links on my fb and that's about all I can think of right now. I honestly have become so bitter with this process and untrusting of the system in general that I feel like any effort to change things won't really work because the bureuacracy and those in the White House/Congress don't really care. They just care about their votes, power and paychecks and that's it. And helping us isn't really high on their priority list because they know that the general public, their primary vote base, doesn't even know about our situation and hence they have no danger of not getting reelected, losing support etc. I'm not trying to bring down the Green Card Committee's efforts or be a downer, but just am telling people how I feel about everything. Sorry if I upset some people.

I've pretty much taken a watch and wait stance regarding my wife's I-130 and am ready for a long almost two year process until she's here, unfortunately. Better to lower the bar than to raise it in my opinion.

BTW: what exactly happens with that petition people linked to on change.com when it hits the 1,200 or so signature mark?

Even if we can only reach and convince 1% of them to participate, that's still 3,500 upset Americans contacting their representatives and the media. Not to mention, their family members may also join in.

It is called google advert so if u enter I-130 for example it will appear at the top but u pull have to pay for it
