Ok, so we've run into some more problems. The feared I-864. Since my husband is living over here and not in the US we need a joint sponsor. This is where the problems start. All of my husbands family has about a trillion kids which means none of them meet the 125% poverty line requirements. So none of them can be my sponsor. Then there's his best friend who meets the requirements but he's not happy about the idea of sponsoring me since he's never met me. So again no sponsor. Does anybody know a way out of this or have any ideas? PLEASE HELP. We're desperate since my husband has to leave my country in less than 1 month. Thanks.

He might have to come back to the U.S. and establish himself with a new job before you can be approved.

And even with a joint sponsor your husband will need US domicile - has he maintained that while he's been in Denmark?

The US domicile is not a problem as we very told that all he needs is a temporary address with e.g. his parents.
