Any interesting question of the day?

That used to be a game we play in the law office with other secretaries at my previous job to keep ourselves entertained...usually it would be rather philosophical topics so we could just go on and on exploring different points of view...

anyone!!!!!!!?????????????

Questions like this?

If someone offered you $100 to tear off the wings of a live butterfly, would you do it? $1000? $1,000,000?

would it kill or hurt the butterfly to tear the wings off? ummmmmmmmmm..... how much debt do i have? is the b-fly rare or precious? hmmmmmmmmm.......... questions, dilemnas, debt, oh my!

Now we are on the right track  ...I need to excercise my brain...I miss the stimulation of rethorical questions...I know that I can count on you ladies...

but what's your answer? hmmmm... ;)

exactly and what if the same money was offered to step on a cockroach. Is it different because we value butterflies differently than cockroaches?

I would tear the wings off either one. They are insects and have a short life span anyway.

Karma, Shmarma. When you see a spider or a fly in your house do you kill it? Sorry bu haunted for eternity for taking the life of an innocent creature? Don't you think that is a bit extreme?

I eat meat, those were all innocent creatures too.

I know, I know ...I must be very bored to even get this thing going...

but just to make another argument ... the butterfly example brings the idea of cruelty for a monetary gain - is that wrong?

So it's only cruel if you are getting money in return? I have no problem killing any insect, LOL, I will do it for free.

I'm up, I'm up!!! My morning cancelled :help: so I'm going to stay home a while to do laundry and wrap presents, maybe even clean house a little. Then I'll go to work after lunch. Anyone for tea? If so, could you send some my way! ;)

Noura what do you do besides dancing/lessons? I think I saw you say that you have a second job right?
