Medical Experience at St.Lukes

Hi VJ members! I just had my medical last Oct. 10 at St. Lukes and since i live outside Manila I stayed at Casa Bocobo Hotel where staffs are very friendly and it is walking distance to St. Lukes. I went there at 4am and there were already people falling in line to get priority number. The clinic opened at 5:30 and we're given number and waited until 6am for the reception area to open. When my number was called I passed my Passport and appointment letter. And to my surprise I was asked also to pass my letter coming from NVC. I informed the receptionist that idon't have it and my fiancè didn't receive it yet. So i was informed to bring back any letter confirming that my case number is correct. But despite of it i was able to continue my medical. At 10:30am while waiting at the counter check i was informed to return the following day at 7:30am with my NVC letter. I was so worried then since my other colleagues were told to go back at 1:30pm on the same day and wondering where i could get my NVC letter.

Came the following day, i printed out my case status at ceac.state.gov since we son't have yet the official letter from NVC and praying everything will go smoothly. I arrived at the clinic at around am and i was informed to proceed at the 2nd floor Immunization area. I went there and waited my name to be called. I had 2 shots of immunization. After my immunization I asked the nurse if this is the last step I would take and I was hao happy hearing that i will wait at the ground floor for the releasing of my results. At around 9:30 i was able to get my vaccination record and my CD for my X-ray result.

I was so happy but disaapointed at the same time since i could have it finished one day only. But God is really good that i was able to passed my medical and I was able to attend also the CFO seminar. Now getting ready for my interview on Oct. 29. ???

Thank you for that information, it's a big help. I will have my medical on Wednesday and the same thing with you, i do not have the NVC letter or the Letter of Appointment yet, i'll print my case status from ceac.state.gov also hoping there will be no problem with that.

Hi Yes just print it out..you maybe asked as well. I think thats the reason why i had my medical for 1 and half days..

Because the agents I talked with when I call the call center for scheduling the interview, informed me that a letter of eligibility is needed before you can set your interview. Did you call the consulate to ask if your case is already in their system? Thanks a lot. I am having a hard time scheduling online so my last chance is through phone. Anyway here's my timeline.

Two days after getting approved we called this number (632) 301- 2000 extensions: 5184 or 5185 for our Case number. SOME people there are very lazy just keep asking them if they already have your case number. Make sure they really check it. Good Luck

Hi KMC! Thanks for your reply, yes we have our case number already but whenever I call the number that you gave me they said our case is not yet on their system, what they only have is the electronic one but not the physical file yet. So she said I cannot schedule an interview yet.

Hello there..i book my schedule online 4hrs after i paid my visa fee. I dont have yet the eligibility letter but i was able to schedule online. Hoping you can book now bcoz the last time i check the available dates there are few days left for the month of October.

hi! nvc gave us our case number on october 10,2013 i have been trying to see my status on ceac but it keep on saying "invalid case number" .. maybe because its weekends? i am soo wanting to have my medical this 16 but i only have the case number and nothing more...

Try to check if you chose immigrant visa instead of non immigrant..you also need your appointment letter for the interview..you can schedule your interview through online.

hi i saw ur timeline and i was surprised that ur date of medical and interview is pretty close .. i just rescheduled my interview now for nov.20 since im 2weeks delayed and not sure when i can do my medical ...sooo stressed about my period now i not for this maybe we have same day of medical and interview ..

Hello! I booked my appointment 5 hours after paying my application fee and i get the earliest available appointment date. This week is a perfect timing for my medical exam because i'm expecting to have my period late next week..

Im sorry to hear that, stress can cause delayed period.. get some rest.

Hi! I don't have my previous vaccination records and thats ok. I paid Php 9,812 and that covers the whole meducal process. And with regard to my physical exam, I was just asked of previous illnesses if i do have and present health condition. Lastly i was told to remove my clothes (as in everything) for the literal physical exam. ?
