Hi VJers,

We filed the AOS along with my husband's EAD on August 20th.
We already received the NOA but are we suppose to be waiting for a letter for the biometrics or should we schedule it somewhere or something?


Kinda lost, please help.. Thank you in advance.

Wait for the letter with the scheduled date for biometrics. You have the option to go at the specified date or you could go ahead and try to see if the office listed on the letter accepts walk-in. Bring all required documents stated on the letter, you'll be in and out in less than 15 minutes.

The appointment letter for biometrics usually arrives around the same time as the NOA. The appointment itself usually occurs about a month after filing. I would think your appointment letter should have arrived by now. You should call USCIS to see if there was any returned mail.
