My wife loves beer and pizza. Have it every weekend. My wife did throw a LOT of things out, including all my "work" clothes because they had paint and grease spots, etc.

Alla likes pizza, makes herself often enough. And she drinks a dark beer when we go out for a dinner...or a galss of wine. But pizza, beer, football and loud men in the house....uh uh.

Just ask a couple of Ecu wives about Cheap Gringo Husbands. laughing.gif

Alla is very frugal. Doesn't ike to buy anything if it is not at least 40% off. She goes to garage sales (she has never figured out why Americans sell such good stuff so cheap!) Goodwill, TJMaxx...but she also goes to Macy's, BonTon, and Eddie Bauer....but only when they have sales or she has a purse full of coupons. Her objection was to someone acting so rude over $1 when they are out for dinner and dressed up. If you are going to go to a fancy restaraunt, dress up and argue over $1, then stay home and eat sandwiches.

We spent more than year collecting materials for our bathroom remodel, buying everything at Lowe's on Clearance sales. THAT is how cheap she is, and she is very proud at how little she spent to have a very nice bathroom.

She is a cheapskate...but she cannot tolerate rude behavoir over it.rofl.gif

She is a cheapskate

This is repeat confirmation that you married very well! smile.png

Mrs. T-B. mooched $100 off of me last night so that she could buy some new dinner-table chairs from one of her girlfriends. The six that she got are all-leather, with stickers on the bottom for $129 from Target. She checked on-line and found each chair on sale at Target for $99 right now.

Ergothuswithforthly, she got 6 for the price of 1. good.gif She has objected to my religious weekly treks to garage sales, but when I come home mid-morning and take her and Mini-Bone out, she always finds stuff at them.

When Mama-Mrs.-T-B. came for her first real visit (i.e., the one after Mini-B.'s birth), she was bewildered by the concept of garage sales (but quickly got into the spirit). In Ecu, people use things till they wear out, and then they keep using them. This is much like typical American guys, who will wear their underwear until one or two atoms are holding the feeble fabric together, si man.
