the second petition was requested Oct 2012, NOA2 on July2013.

I called the immigration and they said my fiance have to cancel it because it was his petition so I cant do anything about it. The problem is I decided to take my ex fiance completely out of my life and he's lazy. The whole reason we got so much RFE. So I doubt he will cancel it...

If the approved petition is already at the US embassy you can simply let them know you do not wish to continue and not schedule an interview and they will close the case. No action is required from your ex-fiance since the petition is past the USCIS stage.

Were both petitions started by the same petitioner or were there two different fiances? That might make a difference for future petitions.

My Immigration Journey:

K1: June 2010 - December 2010

AOS: April 2011 - June 2011

ROC: April 2013 - August 2013

Naturalization: March 2014 - August 2014

I called them already to say I want to cancel the petition. I didn't really say I didn't want to continue but its pretty much the same thing..

The person I talked to said that my fiance has to cancel it since its his petition. He can't help me out with this since I am not the petitioner.

How do ppl figure they'll meet fall in love in a few wks and want to marry?

if marriage are in the cards Y they had not yet married...these ppl have a crystal ball?

Nobody can figure that out. You don't know who you will fall into.

In my case, somehow I get involved with Americans. Not that I'm for the green card or anything like that because I could have easily got it before from my past two petitions.

My question is what if I had another petition. Like I mentioned I am in relationship with someone who lives in the US again and he would come here to visit me.

So now, I want to avoid any future problems and that is why I am asking this question.

Things happen and things sometimes are complicated...

NOA2 won't expire in just 4 months coz it will automatically extend.

Macey, how u know it was cancelled? As far as I know you will only know if ur previous petition has been cancelled if u have the letter from the embassy that ur petion has been closed. Or u attend ur interview and the consul didn't see the petition from ur 1st ex in their system..

Because I didn't have problem with my second petition.

If it wasn't canceled they would have rejected me. I called the immigration and they said that it will cancel on its own. But I am worried that it might affect me somehow if I pursue this relationship with another american citizen.

I was wondering if anyone went trough the same thing as I do.

and maybe get info's but I feel like nobody has really gone tru the same thing as mine.Like lots of petition and cancellation.

Everyones situation is unique, but its unlikely that youre going to find someone who has had 3 k1s filed in the course of 3-4 years by 3 different USCs. (2011, 2012/2013 and potentially 2014)

The best answers youre going to get on here is speculation.

The first issue you could run into is a paperwork/clerical issue of having an open petition. Obviously the first petition is closed. You need to ensure the second one gets closed out. As advised above if it is at embassy level you can contact the embassy and let them know of your intention to NOT attend the interview/ follow through and the case will be closed.

The second issue you can run into when the 3rd petition is filed is a red flag of fraud. Your first and second petitions will always be on your file and attached to you. You seemed to have gotten a bit defensive when it was brought up before about 'trying to get a ticket to the US' and perhaps the wording in said post was a bit direct but the questioning in the interview about it will be much more intense and uncomfortable. You should be prepared for them to grill you about your prior attempts at a K1 and why they failed (the relationships) as well as have plenty of proof of having a bonafide relationship for attempt at K1 number 3.

They are going to be looking at you for fraud harder then they would an ordinary applicant which is why some of the posts suggest getting married and pursuing the CR visa as a marriage implies a stronger relationship than an engagement.

Anyway, I can appreciate planning ahead, but it seems in someways you are putting the cart before the horse. Youre asking about a hypothetical 3rd petition for someone who it seems you havent even met yet correct? Hes coming in Jan 2014. The more time that passes between the petitions the less suspicious it looks in terms of fraud and 'fishing for a ticket to the US'. Plus theres a connection between how long you know someone and how quickly you file in terms of things working out to be honest. Between 2011-2013 youve had 2 k1s filed and cancelled by 2 different men and now your already involved with a 3rd man. That was 2 men you were convinced you were going to marry and spend the rest of your life with in a very short period of time and now youre leaning towards this third man may be be the 'one'. I do believe you that its not about a ticket to the US, but it should not be a race to the altar either. You need to slow down and spend some time finding the right person for you and be truly sure before you file anymore paperwork.
