Quick question

Hey guys,

I have a quick question. When I finally file the I-129F, it will have been about a year since I saw my fiance in person due to my college schedule(senior year is evil, by the way)/new job and his new work contract schedule. I wanted to know if this will make any problems or look bad to the COs? If so is there any sort of explanation letter w need to include maybe? We have more than enough proof of relationship, probably an obscene amount, of daily communication, Skype logs/screenshots, email, photos.

I don't want to wait an file after another visit, because the wait times seem to only be getting longer and honestly we are both sick of waiting as is in general. Opinions??

You sound like you will be fine. You have records of how much you communicate. They just want to verify you have establish relationship. When next you visit take good pics together and with fam.

The one-year time will satisfy USCIS, of course. Front-load your petition with a sensible amount of back-up information to support the bona fide nature of your relationship. Concentrate on time spent together in person. It might help to construct a "relationship timeline" such as the Vietnam members are used to (see that regional forum).

In addition, read the "Embassy Info" and "Reviews: Embassy" for your consulate, to see what's expected. Attend particularly to the worst stories, so that you can fend them off in advance, as possible, through front-loading your USCIS petition. Knowledge is power, and it helps you to avert fear.

I've yet to see a real horror story from Abu Dhabi, it seems very straight forward And I looked back about 6yr for both K1 and CR1....sigh of relief, very very few denials. I will be making a relationship timeline as well. We only have about 6-7 photos together because at the time, I was job/apartment hunting for moving to him in Egypt, so that wasn't on my mind to do. However the political situation tanked really fast (so much that he left ASAP too). I have emails and a job contract on file which I had lined up in Obour at an int'l school that I pulled the plug on due to that. I will include them as well in hopes that will make the lack of photos understandable...I was only going to send maybe 4-5 anyway, is that a decent amount? Plus screenshots of Skype, and chat logs/emails/call logs, maybe one for every 2 weeks we have been together.

Abu Dhabi doesn't seem to require a ton of front loading, most people send just basic stuff.

as long as you've seen each other within two years before filing they say its okay... it seems that you have strong evidences of an on-going relationship. so i think your good...
