Hi guys,

I have a few douths about the correct filling of the 1-485, and dont wanna make any mistakes, would appreciate if you can help about the following:

What is the A#? I asume is the number that the officer wrote at the back of my 1-94 is that correct?

I still dont have a ssn, should i get one before appling for AOS?

I have been asked for my CURRENT USCIS STATUS. I entered as a K1 holder and gor married 4 days after entry to USA. Whats the right answer for this question?

In part 3 section B. List your present husband/wife, all your sons and daughters.

Do i have to mention my son (who is living in mexico and not applying with me) and my husband who is a US citizen?

Im also sending the form 1-129F NOA2 should i send copies of the rest of the documents

(prove of relationship as letters, photos, phone bills) or just the form 1-129F

I-693, Medical Examination or copy of I 693A. When i was at the interview in ciudad juarez they told me i wouldnt need any vaccinations, and i dont have the 1 -693. I gave it to the offical at the POE a closed evenlope so i guess all was there.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Yes it also should be on your NOA 2 form above beneficiary's name for the I-129F

Yes, it helps when you attempt to do things like open bank account, or get drivers license. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=ssn

bradschry&samira,

The question asks for specific information. Why do you think that you aren't expected to provide that information?

The petition Approval Notice is asked for. Why are you even considering sending all that other stuff that is not asked for? (Especially when you are considering not providing other information that is asked for.)

You do not need vaccinations for a K visa. You do need them to adjust status. I-693 and I-693A are not in the envelope - those forms are used in the USA only, not overseas. There is a different set of forms that is used overseas.
