I anticipate the trashing of poor people and lengthy explanations about how they get "free stuff" from people who are oddly jealous.

Why some don't? Maybe because they have so few opportunities and so little income that they have to stoop to being on the WIC program. I have a friend who was on WIC and it helped her to finish her college degree and now she's a teacher. People like her are what it's there for.

Funny how I notice the folks who bash social services like WIC are the same ones who rail against making abortions safer and easier to obtain. Hypocrites, you can't have it both ways.
