I highly doubt that the numbers of people who support terrorism number in the tens of millions.

Roughly 1.6-2.0 Billion Muslims

Around 27% think Terror may be justified at times

Over 400 million

islam-watch.org?

No just looking at Pew research and other places

Looks like from pooling around 22-30% support terrorism in some form

So around 400 million is a close number

The problem is conflating Islam/Muslims with political and regional points of view. I will have to say that it is difficult to find the point where a religious view and political views end and begin but it would be a mistake to generalize being Muslim has more to do with the polls you cite than do regional and political issues.

Ding ding ding!

Honestly that's how I interpret the following.

What we have then is:

Percentage of people who said it is sometimes justifiable to target and kill civilians:

Mormon-Americans 64%

Christian-Americans 58%

Jewish-Americans 52%

Israeli Jews 52%

Palestinians* 51%

No religion/Atheists/Agnostics (U.S.A.) 43%

Nigerians* 43%

Lebanese* 38%

Spanish Muslims 31%

Muslim-Americans 21%

German Muslims 17%

French Muslims 16%

British Muslims 16%

Egyptians* 15%

Indonesians* 13%

Jordanians* 12%

Pakistanis* 5%

Turks* 4%

*refers to Muslims only

I guess you are not aware of the polling in just a few of these countries.

Simple math tells you all you need to know.

Egypt alone has over 80 million people, if Just ten percent sympathize or support this extreme ideology you have 8 million right there.

Lets get back to the more practical question.... how does one "eradicate" tens of millions" of these folks?

Hey man, no need to take my word for it, when you get done running your theories, look at the body count.... those with heads and those without.

Radical Islam is a political movement.

how does one "eradicate" tens of millions" of these folks?

Egypt is presenting a method.
