My dad who is retired, and has not worked in the US at least yet holds Permanent Resident Card has applied for my younger siblings under 21. Since he doesn't work, can I use my financial statements and be the co-signer of AOS or are there other options available?

Thank you Saudade21. I am not sure what exactly USC or a LPR mean, but I am going to google it to understand it better. reading.gif A quick question, Is that similar to me, being the agent or is it something totally different?

Thank you so much, saudade21. Yes, I am a citizen. But do I need to fill the same exact AOS form as my dad is going to fill or do I have to fill a different version of it? By the way, if you can hook me up with a link, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks a million in advance

haha. Thanks, man. Those forms and instructions, I downloaded and read couple of times and understand them pretty well, I guess. But what I really didn't know was my ability or option for being the joint sponsor and secondly the form I needed to fill, in case I had the option of being the joint sponsor. But thanks to you. I know the answer now.

I think, this link of frequently questions might be helpful to those who might be in a situation like mine. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3183.html
