Can we still use AP after USCIS approved our GC?

This is the dilemma that we are facing, our AOS was approved last month and USPS tracking indicated that our GC was delivered. However, we've never received it. We talked to our postal shift supervisor to no prevail and USCIS wanted us to wait for 30 days before applying I-90. In the meanwhile, USCIS also told us to expect delay 60 to 90 days to receive our GC replacement. This upcoming December, we may have to take business trips out of the country and we are worried that the GC replacement may not arrived in time. Our AP/EAD combo card does not expired until February, 2014. Can we still use it?

If the green card has been issued, the AP is invalidated because it's no longer needed. Unfortunately, if you haven't received it that doesn't help.

Make an Infopass appointment with your local USCIS office, take your travel documents confirming the dates and ask them to put a stamp (basically a green card in temporary form) in the passport to cover the period until your return. That way you won't be panicking about whether the GC turns up in time or not. :)

Thank you very much for the advice. We'll make the infopass once the date of the trip is confirmed.
