Hello,

I've been waiting for almost 4 months now for my I-130 to be approved. Other people I know had their I-130's approved in 2 months exactly. I called and was told my application was at the National Benefits Center in Missouri. They don't even list their processing times online for I-130 forms.

Is there a way I can contact them directly or find out what's going on? Please let me know of any steps I can take to make things go faster or at least talk to them to find what is going on. Thank you so much.

2 months? Were they expedite?

Currently wait time is 7-9months, i am closing in on 7th months

Yep, my friend filed her I-130 in February this year and the approval letter was sent to her after 2 months. Her husband has his interview date already for next month. I filed in June and still haven't heard a single thing back. Which is why I was so worried.

I should have mention that both my friend and I are US Citizens and filed as such.

Oh since jan n feb uscis has slowed down a lot. 95% of march filers are still pending and almost all filers from april and so on. You have long time to wait. Be patience, i know its hard but not much you can do other than that. Seems like they are working on late feb and early march filer petitions.

You can follow other june filers here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/433643-june-2013-i-130-filers-merged/

You filed in June? Then your case is most likely at NBC in Overland Park, KS.

They were supposed to be fully operational by the end of September. We don't know if that has already happened or not. Still no approvals from there...

Go to June filers thread, like goldensky suggested :)
