So happy to say that my husband had his interview this morning and was approved. So now tell me what all do we still need to do while we are waiting for his visa to arrive? What web sites should I be checking for the updates on the release of the visa, and what about the green card fees? I know that there is a chance that the AP processing could hold up the issuing process, so what is the time period for AP processing and when would one start to worry, after 30 days or after 60 days. If the AP process is slowing up the process who do I contact to get some movement?

I don't know where you had the interview but here in Italy I was told immediately that my visa had been approved and that it would have been ready the next day. Didn't they tell him how to have his passport with the visa on it back?

And I was told you have to set up an account on the USCIS website to pay the fee Before you leave Jamaica. You need an alien registration number which you will get with the visa package I think. This will kick start the process for the green card as well.

ive been checking the ceac website provided above, ive sent emails to the kingstoniv@state.gov email.. doesnt really do much.. but maybe???

i have one stepson that has been in AP for almost 60 days now.. another stepson was approved on oct first and ceac shows visa issued, so i guess it can arrive any day now?

be blessed with your journey, i hope you dont have the same hurdles
