Joining the October filers :-) I think our situation might be quite unique. We met in an online dating site in December 2012. We haven't met in person. I mailed out our package on Wednesday October 16, 2013. Included is a letter signed and notarized by my employer (of almost 14 tests) stating that I can't get time off of work because my boss was in the hospital for 2 months and is already scheduled to go back in and have more surgery. It also includes a signed and notarized letter from a nursing home where my long time friend resides. I'm her legal guardian and need to be here for her. It describes that I need to be here to make decisions and support her emotionally etc. It also includes a letter from my pastor about his knowledge of my relationship with Stephen, our plan for him to council office for marriage etc. I'm just wondering what the chances are that will get approved for the exception of not having met in person??? Any thoughts?

I haven't gotten an Alien Registration Number yet.... will that will come in another letter? I'm not sure.

I'm not sure if I'm technically an October filer or not, but I'm joining this thread anyway! We mailed our I-129F on October 22 and are currently waiting on our NOA1. We mailed it from the UK, so I'm guessing it'll take a while for it to get to the US and for us to receive our NOA1, so if that doesn't happen I guess perhaps I'll technically be a November filer. But hello to yall anyway! Best of luck! So crazy to hear about these super fast NOA2s!

I'm currently doing a grad program in the UK until late July 2014, so we really don't need the visa to be ready until August 2014 for us to both go back to the US together and get married. So I'm weird in that I'm actually kind of hoping the process will take at least until March or so, just so August will be easily within the six months before it expires. So I'm hoping the whole process from start to finish will take about five to eight months.

October 22, 2013: Mailed I-129F Packet

November 1, 2013: NOA1 email and text

November 4, 2013: Alien registration number changed

November 20, 2013: NOA2

December 19, 2013: Case forwarded to London Embassy

January 2, 2014: Packet 3 Received

February 7, 2014: Medical

March 13, 2014: Interview

Hi,if this helps I filed in September received my NOA1 in late Sept and have now received my NOA2, it took 33 days. I was shocked as it did say that the wait could be up to 5 months. As of yet I haven't heard anything regarding NVC,I'm fearing it may slow things down a tad. As soon as I hear anything I will update my time line and also post to share my experience with others. Good luck to everyone!

Hey everyone,

I mailed off our petition 10/26 and just received our NOA1 today (10/31).

Does anyone have any statistics/trends for the NVC processing phase from the CSC? I hear that's taking up to 8 weeks but I don't see a way to view statistics on that (it lumps all service centers together..)

My optimistic estimates are 30-60 days for NOA2, 30-60 days for NVC processing, ~50 days for visa interview (Philippines)? Does that sound about right?

Thanks!
