hi. my record on the USCIS website says that my permanent resident card was sent december 6th and it also says it was last updated 12/09/2006. what does the last update mean? I'm just worried that it might not come before the holidays and i was planning to go to the Philippines for Christmas.

Do I have to have the actual card before I go home? Can't I use the Welcome Notice or whatever document I have to re-enter the country? I do have a valid tourist visa, if it means anything. Does anybody know what I should do about this? :(

And does anyone know how long it takes to get an infopass appointment? if i apply today will i be able to get an appointment before the 22nd of december?

Thanks!
