Hi, please we received our approval notice from USCIS on August 27, 2013. It's almost 1month 2weeks now but we haven't heard of anything again or had any alert from NVC to proceed.

Does it really take a long time to get the interview date after the petition approval? Please help me with some helpful answers.

THANK YOU!

We were approved August 28, rec'd letter first week of September, and also waiting for NVC to receive it. JUST got off the phone from calling NVC and they still have not received it. California Service Center K-1 Approvals are taking between 41-48 days to be received by the NVC (though I'm not sure how 'solid' or true that number is).

Which service center did your K-1 get filed at?

Applied for Naturalization based on 3-year Residency

July 05, 2017 (Day 00) -  Submitted N400 Application, filed via USPS to Phoenix Lockbox

July 10, 2017 (Day 05) - NOA received

July 12, 2017 (Day 07) -  Check is cashed by USCIS

July 19, 2017 (Day 14) - Biometrics appointment letter mailed

August 02, 2017 (Day 28) - Biometrics appointment at Seattle Field Office

August 28, 2017 (Day 54) - Case is "in line" for an interview"

August 28, 2018 (Day 419) - Interview is scheduled

It would really help if you updated your timeline and explained your situation in more detail, so that I or others on this forum understand exactly where you are in your journey and can possibly help you better. :)

Hi,

We filed K1 on 1st of october and we got our NOA1 yesterday (Oct. 9th) I am looking at VJ´s average for CSC and it says 3 months at this time of the year? The USCIS says 5 month average and now I am seeing in various posts that it is 7.5 months? Is it 7.5 months because it is taking around 2 months for the CSC to send it to the NVC?

What would be the true average for the CSC from a K1 filed in October 2013? This is confusing.

Thanks!

Step one: Fill out your timeline, it helps people answer your questions.

Step two: Have the petitioner call DOS to inquire the case-file status, be sure all paperwork is handy when they get on the phone with a visa-specialist.
