Hi everyone! I just finished my fingerprints done yesterday. I have dry palms and my palms are really like this even when I had an interview at the embassy. Some fingerprints passed but mostly was rejected by the computer. I have no idea if the FBI will accept it or will let me do the second fingerprinting or if the second fingerprinting will also be rejected, they will let me get a police clearance?. I am worried, my greencard may be delayed because of this. Has anyone encountered this? Please help

I had this problem when doing ROC. They sent me a letter after the first attempt, and asked me to return so they could try again. The second set seemed to come out better, although at the time the person taking the prints didn't think they were any better. She told me at the time that if the second set were no good, they would request I get a police clearance, but for me it never came to that. I never had trouble with ink prints, just the electonic ones. Trouble is, most government places that need prints for clearances rely on electronic ones.

Here is a thread where other people had the same issue, and what they tried to help get better prints.

No, I never did. I was fairly sure they would get back to me if they needed anything further.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
