HI VJ friends,

I had my interview last OCt 4 and was given form 221(g) - to submit petitioner's certified divorce decree. I have submitted the required docs on Oct 7 and today I have checked my status it is " READY "

To note: My passport is still with me.

I would say calling the embassy is your best bet.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

We just got an email from US embassy advising to drop off my passport at Aramex office.

Does this mean approval? I hope so..

Approval is when the CEAC status changes to 'Issued', there's a slim chance your petition could go to AP, if not it should only be a week after they receive your passport that you have the Visa. :) Congratulations!

Oh, and I just remembered, ours went from "Ready" to "Administrative Processing" for a couple of days before it said "Issued" so if you see Administrative Processing I would be alarmed :)
