Alien Registration Number Changed! Help Pls!

Today I received this following message:

"On October 9, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

I read in a forum here today that some people, say it is positive and it means that you receive in the next few days your Approval????

Some other people say that it doesn't mean that you have to get your approval in the next few days..... I really don't know what to think about....

I appreciate every help maybe here are some other people who made experiences with this message??

It might be or might not be significant. FYI I got the same noticed from USCIS a month after I filed the I-129f. A month later I got an RFE which I found out reading thru the posts here that RFE usually means my file has been touch and our application is nearing approval once I submit the requirement needed. Just hang in there. Good luck.

My alien registration number was changed almost right way when they got my case and I'm still waiting. It doesn't mean much, it's just an update everyone gets.

Unfortunately it does not mean approval.

It is an update to let you know that a number has been assigned to your case. You will see the number when you get the NOA2 letter in the post. For some people, their approval happens very quickly, in the next few days, but for some people there is still a wait. It's just kind of random.

I got one ARN in September. I had an email October 22nd to say it had been changed again (no reason given, but reading the forums it does happen). A few hours later I got my NOA2 email.

It can vary wildly with what happens after the number is changed. Fingers crossed you receive some good news soon
