Make no mistake, hospitals are run like zoos on crack because of our privatized managed care system. Hospital administrators rake in the big bucks while doctors and staff get less and less back on insurance claims. They are so busy inputting useless and stupid information about each patient every 5 minutes that they don't even look up at you. No surprise patients get lost in the fray. Everyone except the cushy execs is overworked, overtired, and overburdened. ACA will only make this dichotomy worse.

Have to blame this squarely on the hospital. Simply having security cameras and locking access doors properly would have prevented this.

Poorly managed hospitals have nothing to do with Obamacare, They are not unique to America either. This could have happened anywhere in the world, although I'm actually more surprised it happened in the US. Litigation has been the biggest motivation here to mitigate these types of events.
