No appointments available for K-1 interview in Montreal!

The CSC website says there are no appointments available and can give no information on when new appointments will be available. The say we just have to keep checking for someone to cancel or reschedule an appointment in order to have an opening. My fiancé in Canada who is trying to come to the US has been checking many times per day for about two weeks now. Has anyone experienced this who finally did find an appointment date? We are very discouraged as the process with USCIS and NVC went very smoothly and quickly but now we are at a stalemate. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
