my wife has a work permit now but hasnt got her ssn yet. is it ok that we go to the interview without her having a social yet?

and we previously submitted all the paperwork for everything on aos. On the paper for the interview it says to take copies of documents, unless already submitted. should i take copies anyways? and if yes does that mean we need to get passport photos made again? thank you

Not having a SSN is okay. You should take what you think you will need--any originals you sent copies of is a good idea. We only took the original Marriage Certificate and another certified copy. No need for passport photos as the GC will have the photo they took at the bio appointment. Typically the AOS interview is very easy so relax. If you followed the guides here on VJ you should have no problems.

Good luck,

Dave
