Arose at o'cold-thirty for GS (garage sale) activity. Hit road at 8 a.m. Had approximately 9 SGSs (scheduled garage sales) on list. Not as eminently satisfying as last week, no man, but pleasantly productive nevertheless, si man. Found an Estee Lauder handbag for Mrs. T-B.; several books for Mini-B.; a lighted magnifier; a mouse-pad; a duffel bag; two silk ties (not designer, but not bad); and 5 large packages of large cocktail napkins. Total expenditure = $7.50, whee man.

Returned to casa at 10:30; retrieved Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B.; hit two OGSs (opportunistic GSs, meaning those unadvertised except for signage that causes skid-marks and abrupt U-turns that endanger the life & limb of all, see man). Mrs. T-B. found 4 trains for Mini-B. for $1 total, whee man. Had lunch at Taco Cabana (tip: don't go there if you're hungry, unless you want to place two full orders per person); dropped last week's sartorial detritus at the cleaners; returned to casa; everyone in bed for naps by 12:45, zzz man.

Unwillingly roused self and went out by self for errands and to visit later-day GSs, si man. First two such were already closed (having run since Thursday); last was an MS (moving-sale) in a very ritzy part of otherwise-yucky suburb, si man. Bought fancy lamp for $20 (half of asked price), whee man. Did much grocery shopping, chiefly at Aldi Foods, including purchase of 16" pepperoni 'za that was devoured in full, burp man, and 39-cent, 5.5-oz. can of cat food that was devoured by resident feline, miu man. Passed up chance for second nap because Mini-B. wanted to interact with Daddy, wee man. Watched half of Pixar movie "Cars" yet again, once more finding subtleties unrecognized during previous 16,830.7 viewings, gee man.

Now, must warsh dishes and minister to cat, miu man, and return to VJ, company man.

Warshing dishes on Saturday night is a must, no matter how few there are. The cat's bowls are changed for the week, and it's important to warsh the old ones and announce to her which set she'll be dining from for the forthcoming 7 days. This is a tradition, see man. By mental count, I think that the rotation consists of 5 sets of bowls, si man.

By unofficial scientific experiment, the cat has failed only twice to come running when I've poured the remaining dry food from the old bowl into the new one. She has never failed to appear when I replenish the dry food, no man. I want to be reincarnated as a house-cat, si man.

I can't take another word of this witty repartee that's gone on nonstop for the last 3 hours, no man. Will journey downstairs to de-dish the dishwarsher, minister to cat (who, although now on lap, will follow), then prep for and go to bed, zzz man. Children and to have them or not is a big issue and one you guys should actually resolve before he moves to the USA.

I believed it had been resolved. We talked about it (for over a year) he agreed with everything and now it is a problem for him, apparently because he did not want to end up without me so he decided to agree with it. Now he will no longer talk to me about it and continues saying he is fine that it is no problem and we are on the same page.

It will come up again I am sure so until then...topic is dormant.

Hey Steve, your kid have the dreaded rainbow loom thing yet?

We got it yesterday and uggghhhhh. My daughter is really too young to do it by herself so it is me having to do half of it. The kids here are obsessed with them.

Tbone - Careful with the tag/estate sales or your house will end up like my dad's. We've probably cleared out two and a half tractor trailers worth of stuff and there is still more.
