It started pre-fish. Omitted step above (after original #6) was the gargling of mouthwash. Otherwise, excellent theory.

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.

Not that I regularly scope such things, but I see that I've become the 30th most prolific member on VJ.

The member that I passed was Yodrak, who was legendary for his immigration knowledge.

Ontarklar is probably the only one here who might remember him actively. (Si, man?)

Brother D. is the all-time most prolific VJ member who's contributing regularly in this thread, D man.

Am heading bedward soon, zzz man.

I've been working with house breaking a foster dog for few weeks now. He's been coming along, but still had accidents, partly because I didn't understand him enough, and partly because he doesn't ask to go out. After an overnight in the kennel, he normally needs to go out two times in the morning to fully relieve himself. There's the same situation when he's spent the day in the kennel while we work. This morning for the very first time he came up to me and started whining, obviously trying to tell me he needs his second break now, or maybe making sure I don't forget it. It was a wondrous occasion for a dog foster trying to make a rejected dog into a good pet for someone.

BTW I tried to not use the kennel with him in the day time, and keep him in the controlled area we keep our own dog in while away. He taught our dog how to climb the dang child gates, so now I have a new issue to attempt to train out of our dog. And its much easier to train a dog to do something than not to do something when you're not there.

How about this move.......

Before he goes on vacation, he says that his 20 year old son has mental issues, takes off for about 30 days throughout the summer. But his son lives with his ex-wife.....

Then 2 weeks ago, he says he's got a boil on his azz. And that it has to get lanced. So he goes on vacation for another week right thru Halloween. Now he has no small children.....They're grown.

Now, he says he didn't get it lanced, but took AbX. Now the AbX didn't work.......so now he takes sick days........

Where did we get this marklan clown from?

I have supper for tonight all made and in the fridge (Shepherd’s Pie). Made it yesterday on my day off.

I’ve been having trouble managing working a weird schedule and the housework & cooking.

Any tips?

p.s. hubby is definitely helping out but they tend not to eat meals if I don’t cook ahead (or plan something simple) and I’m working over dinner.

Is he good at his work? Maybe he's got a drinking or drug problem he's trying to hide? I've no idea what AbX is.

Only 1 tip. But you already know that being in the military in a former life.....

Manage your time.

Is he good at his work? Maybe he's got a drinking or drug problem he's trying to hide? I've no idea what AbX is.

1-AbX- Antibiotics

2- Good at administration. But that's if he's there. And that's about it. In the past 8 years, he went from 200 to about 380 lbs. He'd never get hired anywhere else. This is a dead end road for him.

3- A conversation between him and a client goes like this..... "Hello Louis, where's Steve?"

4- He drinks. But I don't see symptoms of an alkie.....or a junkie.....

I'm gonna try to see if I can find out how many sick days he's taken in the last few years......

I'm telling ya, it's over 100, may be 150.....

He never takes 1 single sick day. It's always a week or more.......

At 380 lbs, his health might be pretty darn bad. Alkies are pretty good at hiding it, we get a lot of them in our machine shop. Eventually most of them get fired for attendance issues. Look if Fridays and Mondays are big missing days. That's what we see here, they can't wait to get out and get roaring drunk on the weekend and then can't sober up for Monday.
