Hubby's 23rd birthday today I had my sister (who's a bakery chef in DC) make him a cake in the shape of a chef's jacket with his name on it. He was so surprised!

The cat-ministry seems to have had an effect, miu man.

Cat-Daddy walks in this eve, feeds cat half-can of noxious soft cat-glop.

Cat gobbles it, follows Cat-Daddy.

Cat jumps on dinner table, trying to get at C-D's pescado (fish), multiple times.

Cat is removed, gently, multiple times from table, with "you have to get down from here."

Cat appreciatively licks plate when C-D finishes.

Cat follows C-D upstairs for siesta.

Cat immediately crawls under sheet; cuddles corpulent self firmly against C-D's chest & chin.

Cat purrs like motorboat.

Cat lashes C-D with muscular rabo (tail) before falling asleep; purrs change to snores.

C-D remains completely still, knowing that heaven frowns on he who awakens a sleeping cat.

C-D can't fall asleep himself, sigh man.

Alarm buzzes; C-D contorts self to whack the tap-nap without disturbing cat.

Alarm buzzes again; repeat of process.

Having been indoctrinated that C-D is to be roused before late TV news, Mrs. C-D yells "C-D! 9:55! Get up!"

C-D stiffly rolls around, trying to arise without disturbing cat.

Cat rouses self, waits on bed.

C-D lurches into bathroom, returns. Cat follows C-D downstairs.

C-D lies on couch. Cat perches corpulent self on C-D's midsection, purring like motorboat.

C-D administers strokes & chin-scratches; cat purrs like louder motorboat.

News ends; C-D lurches upstairs to computer. Cat follows, perches corpulent self on C-D's lap.

Cat head-butts C-D as latter tries to type.

Cat de-laps corpulent self as Mrs. C-D barges in.

Cat re-laps corpulent self as Mrs. C-D leaves.

Cat falls asleep on C-D's lap.

Cat de-laps corpulent self to use nearby & newly freshened litterbox.

Cat grooms and re-laps corpulent self, falls asleep.

C-D's hindquarters and lower limbs fall asleep from stillness, because C-D knows that heaven frowns on he who awakens a sleeping cat.

Dunno what got into the corpulent fluffball, no man.
